WALNUT BEND is a large subdivision of more than 800 properties located off Sam Houston Parkway, between Buffalo Bayou and Westheimer Road. Construction years range from the late ‘50s to early ‘70s, with traditional, contemporary, ranch and Colonial among the varied architectural styles.

Annual events include a 4th of July parade and pool party, Hay Day in the Park, an Easter egg hunt, fall festival and community garage sale.
Located to the east of the Energy Corridor, Walnut Bend attracts homebuyers in the industry who want a short commute. Just across Sam Houston Parkway, City Centre provides a multitude of shopping dining and
entertainment options. Terry Hershey Park and Buffalo Bayou to the north offers hiking, biking and boating, as does George Bush Park to the west. Downtown Houston is just 15 miles away.
